Happy New Year! Welcoming 2013, Bare Feet-Style, Baby!

If you invite me to your party, I'm probably gonna be barefoot most of the night! Hope this is OK! :)

      A great time at my friends, Mary & Dennis' annual New Year's Eve bash last night.. A night filled with laughter, cocktails, fun, food, bad karaoke, and, of course, bare feet! Does anybody think I'm ever keeping my shoes on if I can help it at all?! LOL! No sir! In fact, I arrived, prepped my delicious pulled-pork sliders & put them on a serving tray, and then that was it: slip-ons left by the front door w/ my jacket, and comfortable bare feet shufflin' around on a cool, smooth wooden floor all night long! The funniest "feet related" part of the night was when a party guest (who I didn't know) came up to me with her teenage daughter, and both of them were looking down at my silver, metallic-painted toes with big-ass smiles on their faces. The mom said, "I just gotta tell you, my daughter is absolutely in love with your bare feet! I'm not even joking, she thinks your toes are just the coolest thing!!" ..Of course I blushed a little, but it reaffirms what I get told all the time: For a dude, my feet are beyond amazing! Bare feet as nice, if not nicer, as most chicks' feet! Hah, I consider this a total win in life, and will never get tired of hearing that! ..After a few hours, my great friend Loretta finally got tired of wearing her super-sexy high heels and (ka-clunk) kicked those suckas off too, joining me alcohol-feuled, barefoot party bliss! I looked at her when she took her shoes off, and said to her, "Tell me how good that feels right now!" Loretta responded, "Oh my God, you have no idea!" ..I don't wear high heels, but of course I have an idea! Because, to me, going barefoot absolutely rules! HAPPY NEW YEAR, my friends! Hopefully many shoes-off, fun life moments for you all in 2013! Thanks for your continued support and enjoyment of this silly blog! I hope to keep you all giggling & laughing for many years to come!
